"I hunt because it is FUN, No apology needed. I hunt NTO because Paul runs a convenient friendly and personable ranch.

Why hunt high fence?

1. You can hunt when free range season is closed.
2. No drawing of tags or waiting years for preference points to accumulate.
3. Comfortable accommodations. Hunt at your own pace.
4. Always critters to see. (big entertainment factor for me).
5. Great place to test fine arms and load design.
6. Great place to encourage and start young hunters.
7. Species available that may not be indigenous to the USA.
8. It is just plain fun. What is not to like? Give it a try.

Critics of high fence hunting say it is just too easy. I contest they have not hunted Blackbuck or Aoudad with hand gun or bow.

Pick your reason to hunt "excuse for spouse or boss" then have fun. I give my highest recommendations to Paul Cantrell at NTO.

By the way, the rifle hunter that killed that big red sheep, my congratulations. He needs to thanks this hand gun hunter for a flat out miss."

"I can’t say enough good things about North Texas Outfitters as well as Paul and Chris Cantrell. I recently spent three days there with clients hunting various game around the property. Our party contained both highly experienced and inexperienced hunters and everyone walked away extremely happy. The terrain was varied and presented several different challenges depending on what you are looking for. Chris does a great job controlling were people are hunting so you always feel you are in a safe well maintained environment. Not only was the hunting extremely fun and challenging I learned a lot about stalking in general. Their operation offers what I feel is a satisfying and safe hunting experience with a 90%+ chance of success depending on the animals you want to hunt. The post hunt operation is as well-oiled as the hunt itself. Our animals were quartered and put in a cooler to be taken to be processed and they arrange for a taxidermy service as well. Everything was carefree, accommodative, and easy from start to finish.

The accommodations are simple, but comfortable and clean, and offered you the opportunity to socialize and unwind after a long day. While Chris handled the hunting and Paul handling the cooking where there was no shortage of good hardy food and social banter.
